Welcome to my world - a world that is defined by my love for windsurfing and surfing, which is nurtured by my insatiable longing for traveling around the globe, in search of wind and waves, adventure, wildlife, and the shear beauty of mother nature. 

My name is Flo Luther. I used to compete in German national windsurfing competitions, in the disciplines Freestyle and Wave. Even if I retired from competing, I still consider myself an athlete, a part time globetrotter, a sports addict and a nature lover.

 Yet, I have to balance living my dreams and pursuing my passions with my job and my ordinary life. Luckily, living on the shore of the Baltic Sea close to Kiel and sharing my passions with my wife and personal photographer (www.valerieluther.de) makes it easier to combine the daily routine with regular breakout trips, to fascinating and remote destinations, offering, either good surf, fantastic wildlife and nature, or in the best case a combination of both. Also, my family's sympathy for my passion allows me to squeeze in a quick session almost every windy day, even if only at my home spot, 300m away from our backyard.
